Avialex Law Group, LLP Partner Nominated to Emery Unified School Board

On April 28, 2020, John T. Van Geffen was sworn in as the newest member of the Emery Unified School District Board of Trustees.

John takes great pride in taking on the awesome responsibility of proving leadership and citizen oversight of the district’s schools and looks forward to working with the Superintendent, staff and public to set a direction for the district, establish policies, ensure accountability and provide community leadership on behalf of the district and public education.

Mr. Van Geffen’s daughter will be starting Kindergarten in the Emery Unified School District in the 20/21 School Year.
