The UAS Pilots Code (ver. 1.0) has been released.
Mike and John assisted in helping write and edit The UAS Pilots Code in conjunction with the Aviators Code Initiative and the University Aviation Association with the goal of advancing safety, airmanship, and professionalism among pilots and operators of such aircraft.
The guidance is organized into the following seven sections:
1. General Responsibilities of UAS Pilots;
2. Manned Aircraft and People on the Surface;
3. Training and Proficiency;
4. Security and Privacy;
5. Environmental Issues;
6. Use of Technology; and
7. Advancement of UAS Aviation.
